A Medical Marihuana Caregiver Center (MMCC) is a business operated by a registered primary caregiver that engages in activities authorized by the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act, Initiated Law 1 of 2008, MCL 333.26421, et seq. (the "Act"), which include cultivation, consultation or distribution of medical marihuana to a primary caregiver’s registered qualifying patients as defined by the Act, or performs other activities pertaining to medical marihuana authorized by the Act.
  2.  All proposed MMCC’s in The City of Detroit must initiate the process to get zoning approval and a business license within 30 days of the effective date of the zoning ordinance. (March 1, 2016)
